Who We Are

House of Timbuktu is the heartbeat of Wylene Hameed and her husband YUSUf Hameed. Their love for people, history and willingness to serve their community gives life to this vision. Their vision is working to feed the mind and to promote moral excellence through education. Their self-funded efforts have helped to assist and grow indi- viduals, families and provide skills trainings to employ the under employed and unemployed in the unincorporated Fort Barnwell community.

Our Philosophy

At House of Timbuktu, we believe that everyone de- serves access to quality community support services. We approach each client with compassion, respect, empa- thy, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environ- ment for all.
